Freelance work done for International Gallery Artist
Rainer Gahnal

I did these for gallery artist Rainer Gahnal's "Dadalenin" show in Vienna.  All were about 24"x28", all done in Oil except for the first one, done in Acrylic.

You can read about the ideas behind the paintings and explore other parts of this exhibit by clicking the link:

And here are some prop paintings done for one of his art films.  They are copies of famous works by Rouseau, Manet, Vlamink, and Renior.  I think the monkey came out best.

And here is an example of a large series of acrylic paintings I did for Rainer.  The first one was about 48"x72", the second about 48"x 58", roughly.  I did many of these, most around the size of the first one.

Here's a link to his website where you can see more "new paintings":
Here's some drawings I did for Rainer.  These were about 14"x 17", done in ballpoint pen.  These are just a sample, the series was quite large.  I really liked working on these and the news paintings.  It really taught me a lot about working with language and words in art.

Here's a link to his page with more of these:  http://www.ganahl.info/waronterror.html

More of my Nature Studies, mostly tree, cloud, and outdoor drawings.  Some were used as prepatory drawings for some of the paintings.  All were done in Pencil unless otherwise stated.
